Luisteraars Radio 1 zetten vredeslied 'Imagine' van John Lennon alweer op nummer 1 in Classics 1000
'Imagine' van John Lennon is voor het tweede jaar op een rij de nummer 1 van de Classics 1000 van Radio 1. Het ultieme vredeslied van Lennon eindigt voor 'Wish you were here' van Pink Floyd.
'Les yeux de ma mère' van Arno vervolledigt het podium in de lijst die door de luisteraars van Radio 1 gestemd is.
'Wish you were here' van Pink Floyd is net als vorig jaar goed voor zilver in de Classics 1000. Arno verdringt 'Troy' van Sinead O'Connor van het podium met 'Les yeux de ma mère'.
De 11e editie van Classics 1000 werd de voorbije 2 weken gepresenteerd door Annelies Moons, Ayco Duyster, Evert Venema, Floris Daelemans, Hannelore Van Besouw, Ilse Liebens, Joren Carels, Ronald Verhaegen en Vincent Byloo.
De finaledag vond plaats in het Cactus Café in Brugge, waar muzikant Senne Guns zorgde voor heel gesmaakte live-intermezzo’s op piano.
